How it works

The program’s own rules, as Catalyst runs them.

Choose your total pull-up goal before starting; one hundred is used here. Do full-range sets with about one good rep left, resting one minute between sets and using as few sets as you can. Finish when you have completed the goal reps, with a safety limit of one hundred sets. When ten or more clean reps per set feel easy, choose added weight; if you cannot do five, choose assistance. Make that equipment and weight choice before using it. Choose any other movement or goal yourself. Repeat on days you choose; there is no fixed weekly frequency or automatic progression.
