How it works

The program’s own rules, as Catalyst runs them.

Train four times a week through week ten, then three times a week in the final two weeks. Keep your starting training maxima throughout. Choose sleeves or wraps for raw squats and keep that setup. Use the difficulty and reps-left-in-the-tank estimates to guide your percentages; they do not add another progression rule.

What you need

Everything its exercises call for. Missing something? The app suggests swaps that train the same thing.

  • Barbell
  • Flat bench
  • Resistance bands
  • Squat rack
