Follow the workout order and timing in the program’s notes.
The program’s own rules, as Catalyst runs them.
Choose a close deadlift variation, a distant variation and your competition stance. On the initial single, leave one to three reps in reserve, estimate your maximum and choose that maximum before moving on. Normally, do six distant-variation workouts; if the first is above RPE seven, you may choose two sets and a five-workout phase. The optional bridge includes a separate ten-rep assessment. Choose weight increases with your plate availability and any plateau in mind. In the peak, subtract your chosen weight reduction from the 81.5-percent weight. Plan warm-ups and stopping limits before lifting. Choose the extra bridge volume only if you are used to very high volume and have no injury history; it applies to all three day-one and all three day-two workouts. Move to the next phase after the final workout of the current one, settling its training choices beforehand.
